19. Toronto Raptors

Heading into the start of the season, the Toronto Raptors were a team that not many knew what to make of. They had made the decision, good or bad, to keep the roster as is (even after losing Fred VanVleet in free agency) and not hit the reset or rebuild button. Instead, they were going to head into the new year with OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam essentially playing on the final years of their contract.

The hope was that something would finally click with the Raptors’ veterans and young players and something magical would happen. So far, that hasn’t happened as the Raptors have been a pretty average team (and that’s at best). The Raptors are 5-7 and are one of the worst teams in the league on the offensive end of the floor.

If Toronto keeps losing at this pace, you can’t help but wonder what awaits this team at the NBA Trade Deadline. They can’t keep making the same mistakes and expect different results, right? There’s a strong argument to make that the Raptors should be sellers.
