2024 NBA Draft: 16 Biggest risers and fallers after NCAA Tournament
NBA Draft riser: Stephon Castle, UCONN
Throughout the course of his freshman season, Stephon Castle has been a consistently strong NBA Draft prospect. He's been considered a lottery pick for much of the year and a top-10 pick of late. However, as he's carried that consistency into the NCAA Tournament, with a couple of splash performances here and there, it's safe to say that Castle has raised his draft stock a bit with his play over the last few weeks.
Heading into the official pre-draft process, Castle could stake a claim as a top 5 talent in this year's draft class. The only big question in his game this season has been his inconsistent 3-point shooting. That carried on into the NCAA Tournament and will be one of the bigger question marks heading into his individual workouts with teams.
However, if he can at least prove some improvement or show signs of being a potential consistent 3-point shooter, there's no question that he could emerge as a unanimous top 3 selection in this year's draft class. With his performance in the NCAA Tournament, he's given himself a real shot to be taken extremely high in the 2024 NBA Draft.
