Dallas Mavericks build a trade package around young prospects
The Dallas Mavericks could take this trade offer a step further by offering even more of their young prospects. If The Toronto Raptors weren't all that interested in Jaden Hardy, perhaps the Mavs could include Josh Green and Oliver-Maxence Prosper along with salary fillers (Tim Hardaway Jr. and Richaun Holmes) and draft compensation. To make the money work all along, the Raptors could send veteran Garrett Temple.
Green and Prosper could be two young prospects that would theoretically fit around the Scottie Barnes build and have the talent to continue to grow as difference-makers. In his fourth season in the league, Green has somewhat taken a step back this season and at this point, would very much benefit from a change of scenery.
Prosper, a late first-round pick from the 2023 NBA Draft, hasn't gotten much run so far this season but has shown the potential to emerge as a valuable piece in a potential trade. I'd still wonder if that would be enough to get a deal done.
