Oklahoma City Thunder

Led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, the Oklahoma City Thunder are currently 11-5 and sitting as the second seed in the Western Conference standings. Anyone who says they expected this at the start of the season is not telling the truth. On paper, it was expected that the Thunder was going to take a step forward but what they've done through the first month of the season is so much more than that.

However, the big question surrounding the Thunder is if they can continue to rely on consistent efforts from their two key supporting stars next to SGA - Holmgren and Jalen Williams. These are two young players that are beginning to blossom but also two players that are both relatively unproven. That's my biggest concern when it comes to trusting the Thunder over the course of the season.

OKC has also had a relatively soft schedule to open the season. Like many other young teams on this list, we're going to find out more about this team during this upcoming month. Quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if we begin to see this team take a bit of a tumble in the standings.
