6. Charlotte Hornets - Matas Buzelis, F, G League Ignite

As the Charlotte Hornets continue to build around their talented young core of LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, and Mark Williams, one prospect that they could end up targeting with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft is Matas Buzelis. As a prospect who has risen and fallen all over the lottery over the past couple of months, it's safe to say that Buzelis has settled in as a player who will likely be drafted in the 3-8 range of the top 10. If he's available when the Hornets go on the clock, there's a very good chance he ends up being the selection.

Because of his versatility as a wing, it's easy to see why any team with established young players in the backcourt and one in the frontcourt would target him. Buzelis has the potential to be an impactful player right away and has solid long-term potential for a prospect being selected in the top 10.

If Buzelis can continue to prove that he can continue to develop a consistent jump shot and that the concerns about him attacking the rim are a thing of the past, this is the type of prospect that could end up bursting into a star in a few years.
