2. Washington Wizards - Justin Edwards, G, Kentucky

The Washington Wizards would very much benefit from finishing with a top 3 pick. In fact, at this point, it would be surprising if they didn't. They're in the early stages of what appears to be a long rebuild. You can make the argument that the Wizards don't have one foundational piece for the future on the roster right now. And that's why the draft will be so critical to their team build over the next few seasons.

Even though there might not be a surefire prospect in this year's draft class, the Wizards taking a flier on one of the top prospects would give the team a chance to get back on the right track. And maybe Justin Edwards could be a fit for the team. Edwards will be playing his freshman season at Kentucky this year.

Edwards is still very much a raw prospect. But he's a big guard/wing (6-foot-8) who will be able to play multiple positions at the next level. Through his first few games with the Wildcats, he's flashed some potential. That said, he still very much has some proving to do, especially on the perimeter as a 3-point shooter.
