7. Chicago Bulls - Stephon Castle, G, UCONN
The Chicago Bulls are one of the teams that could be on the verge of a rebuild. A lot of that will depend on how the next couple of months play out for the team. If they do continue to falter heading into the NBA Trade Deadline, there's a good chance they end up blowing up their core. If that happens, the rebuild will very much be underway. If they're starting from scratch, Stephon Castle could be a fit as the team starts a new era for the franchise.
Castle is a 6-foot-6 guard out of UCONN with elite physical tools. He may be considered a bit of a raw prospect but his long-term potential is what will likely make him a top 10 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. If the Bulls are looking for a long-term project, Castle could be worth the gamble. During his first two games with the Huskies, Castle is averaging 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists on 67 percent shooting from the field.
Castle needs to prove he can develop a 3-point shot but that could come with reps. If the Bulls trust their developmental system, Castle should definitely be on their radar.
