22. Phoenix Suns - Trey Alexander, G, Creighton

The Phoenix Suns are hoping that they have enough talent and depth to make some waves in the Western Conference playoffs. However, it's looking more and more like the Suns' lack of depth is going to ultimately let them down when it matters most. That's why heading into the offseason, the Suns have to hit a home run with this first-round selection, assuming they keep the pick of course. One intriguing prospect that could be in play for the Suns at this point in the draft is Creighton guard Trey Alexander.

As somewhat of a new riser in recent mocks, Alexander is averaging 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists on 45 percent shooting from the field. The concerns surrounding Alexander are clear - can he be consistent enough of a shooter from 3-point range and whether he can fit into a defined role at the next level as a combo guard?

Because of his experience, he has a shot to be a contributor right away and the Suns would very much benefit from that possibility.
