14. Houston Rockets (via Brooklyn) - Stephon Castle, G, UCONN
The Houston Rockets don't own their draft pick this season unless they find a way for it to land in the top 4, but there is a chance that they still get to select in the first round thanks to the Brooklyn Nets. As part of the James Harden trade, the Rockets own the Nets' pick no matter where it lands in the first round. This is where the Rockets are going to be able to make another talented addition to their team this offseason via the draft.
One player that could be on the team's radar is Stephon Castle. The 6-foot-6 freshman is a guard that possesses a high ceiling. Through the first few games of his season, Castle is averaging 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists on 60 percent shooting from the field. If he can continue to prove that he can be a versatile offensive player, his defensive prowess is something that could get him selected in the lototery, possibly even higher.
As the Rockets look to add more talent to their roster, Castle could be a player that enters the conversation if they select in the lottery. Even if the Rockets manage to make the playoffs this season in the West, they could still be selecting in the top 14 of the NBA Draft.
