15. New Orleans Pelicans - Izan Almansa, F, G League Ignite

The New Orleans Pelicans have the feel of one of those teams that are going to be on the cusp of playoff contention in the Western Conference but will ultimately fall out of the race for one reason or another. That means they're likely going to pick in the 13-17 range of the 2024 NBA Draft. That will give the Pelicans another opportunity to select another talented prospect. One player that could make sense for the Pelicans is Izan Almansa.

Especially with the uncertainty that revolves around the future of Brandon Ingram, Almansa gives the Pelicans another high-ceiling prospect that they could invest in. At least for now, Almansa's draft stock is all over the place. I still firmly believe that Almansa can prove enough this season with the G League Ignite team that he can climb his way back into the good graces of scouts.

But, again, he'll have to prove that there is some versatility in his game on both ends of the floor. Until he's able to do that, there's a small chance that Almansa ends up being a late first-round pick or even ends up falling into the second-round in some mocks.
