18. Cleveland Cavaliers - Jared McCain, G, Duke
The way the Cleveland Cavaliers have been playing recently, you can make the argument that they're beginning to sort some things out after a sluggish start to the season. That has to be a good sign for this team's future. Nevertheless, they're still going to have a middle-to-late first-round pick in an attempt to add another piece to their possible championship puzzle. With the uncertainty that revolves around Donovan Mitchell's future with the team, I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavs targeted a guard with this pick.
One prospect that could be on the team's radar is Jared McCain, a 6-foot-3 freshman guard out of Duke. Starting every game for the Blue Devils so far this season, McCain is averaging eight points and five rebounds per game on 41 percent shooting from 3-point range.
If the Cavs truly believe in their ability to get the most out of players, and there's no reason why they shouldn't, McCain could very much be in play for Cleveland if they do end up picking around the point in the NBA Draft.
