2. San Antonio Spurs - Nikola Topic, G, Serbia

When the San Antonio Spurs selected Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, there were many that believed they were going to make a sizable jump in the Western Conference standings. However, at least through the first quarter of the season, that really hasn't been the case for San Antonio. Instead, the Spurs have the second-worst record in the NBA and are on pace to have a historically bad season.

Penciled in to finish with the No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft, the Spurs will have the opportunity to find another star talent that they can play next to Wemby and the rest of their emerging young core. One player that could be a Spurs target in this year's NBA Draft is Nikola Topic, who is a big guard (at 6-foot-6) and is considered one of the best playmakers in this year's class.

He has all-around offensive potential at the next level but it's his 3-[oint shooting struggles that could drop him down a few spots in the draft. If he can improve on that front, however, he'll have a chance to be a unanimous top 5 pick.
