30. Minnesota Timberwolves - Trey Alexander, G, Creighton
In what has become the surprise of the season, the Minnesota Timberwolves have the best record in the NBA. Even after their hot start to the season, I'm not sure if there's anyone that expects them to win the championship this season. Still, it would take a turn of events for this team to make a huge fall down the standings. That means the Wolves are likely to pick late in the first round. In an attempt to find some depth behind Mike Conley and Anthony Edwards, perhaps they would explore selecting a guard in the 2024 NBA Draft.
One potential prospect that could fit is Trey Alexander. In his third season at Creighton, Alexander is putting together quite the season. He's averaging 16 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game on 44 percent shooting from the field. As a proven scorer and playmaker, Alexander could play his way into being a first-round pick.
If there are any concerns about Alexander, they come with his inconsistent 3-point shooter. It appeared as if he had improved from deep last season when he shot 41 percent from deep. However, he's been inconsistent once again to start this season. It's something that could take him from being a potential first-round pick to undrafted.
