9. San Antonio Spurs (via Toronto) - Justin Edwards, F, Kentucky

If the Toronto Raptors end up missing the playoffs and finish with a bottom 10 record in the NBA, there's a good chance that the San Antonio Spurs enter the 2024 NBA Draft with two selections in the top 10. Even with the Spurs struggling to start this season, losers of 16 straight games, two picks in the top 10 (even if what some believe will be a down draft) could do wonders for this team heading into the 2024-25 NBA season.

After selecting a point guard with their first selection in the top 10, perhaps the Spurs would use this pick to select a wing that could potentially develop into a potential star next to Victor Wembanyama. One potential option at this point in the draft is Justin Edwards, a 6-foot-8 wing who is playing his freshman season at Kentucky.

In some recent mocks, Edwards is a name that has fallen a bit recently. However, I still love his size, athleticism, and potential on the defensive end of the floor. If the shot begins to fall for him, I don't think it's that outlandish to believe he can be a top-10 pick in this year's NBA Draft. Make no mistake, this would be somewhat of a risky selection.
