4. Orlando Magic
What the Orlando Magic have done this season is quite impressive. The Magic are one of the hottest teams in the league and are just getting started. They're extremely young but also very talented. And the duo of Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero is proving to be one of the best in the NBA. The Magic's supporting cast has even stepped up so far this season. You can make the argument that the Magic are playing a bit ahead of schedule right now.
Heading into the season, the hope was that the Magic would be improved. And potentially, they could make the playoffs via the Play-In Tournament. However, there weren't many who expected the Magic to be one of the top 6 teams in the Eastern Conference. So far, they've been that and then some. They've actually been one of the three best teams in the East this season.
I'd worry about a potential wall that the Magic may hit. For such a young team, that's certainly something to keep an eye on over the next few weeks. But if this team does show longevity, they're going to be a nightmare for any veteran contender to face in the postseason.
