25. Utah Jazz
Through the first 20 games of the season, it's become clear that the Utah Jazz are likely a bit more far off than perhaps many thought. The hope heading into the start of the season was that they'd be in the playoff mix in the Western Conference. With how the standings currently are, it's hard to imagine the Jazz making a strong push to even qualify for the Western Conference Play-In Tournament.
Understandably, a lot can change between now and April. However, it's safe to say that the Jazz is going to have to make some tough decisions between now and the NBA Trade Deadline. Are they going to continue to act as if they can win now or do they begin to pivot to a complete rebuild?
And if so, where does that leave a budding star like Lauri Makkanen who is probably on a timeline that would benefit from winning now and not waiting another 3-4 years to compete in the Western Conference?
