24. Portland Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers have not had an ideal start to their rebuild. After making what appeared to be a smart move in an unenviable situation with Damian Lillard, the results haven't been ideal. Scoot Henderson, who was at the center of the Lillard chatter during the offseason, is struggling mightily through the first few weeks of his rookie campaign in the NBA. It's somewhat surprising considering how encouraging of a stint he had in the NBA Summer League.

If Scoot can't turn his rookie season around, there are naturally going to be questions about whether he can be considered the face of the franchise moving forward. And if he's a key part of the future foundation for the team, they are in a much worse situation than originally realized. Scoot was a big part of why trading Lillard wasn't all that bad. If he isn't "The Guy," I'm not sure where that leaves the Blazers moving forward.

The next few months will be increasingly important for the direction of this young team. Here's hoping that trading Lillard doesn't end up putting the Blazers back another half-decade. But the early returns aren't great.
