Milwaukee Bucks
Expendable difference-maker: Jae Crowder
Over the last few weeks, we've seen the Milwaukee Bucks begin to hit their stride as a team. Damian Lillard is looking more and more comfortable in the offense and Giannis Antetokounmpo is still playing like the best player in the world. But even as the Bucks begin to mold themselves into the championship contender that many expected them to be heading into the start of the season, there is one player that could be viewed as an expendable difference-maker.
Jae Crowder could be a player that the Bucks could theoretically live without. Even though he got off to a great start to the season, it's no foregone conclusion he'll be able to win back his spot when he is ready to be integrated back into the rotation.
As unfortunate as it may be to say out loud, the facts are the facts. Crowder has only played in nine games so far this season (due to injury) and the Bucks have not missed him much. The hope is that he can return before the stretch run but even if he doesn't or if Milwaukee elects to trade him at the deadline, it won't be a huge loss.
