Expendable difference-maker: Miles Bridges

The young Charlotte Hornets continue to struggle as a team. There are times when their talent is an event while there are other times when it appears as if this team needs to seriously think about hitting the reset button once again. Either way, heading into the NBA Trade Deadline, the Hornets could emerge as one of the most intriguing teams to follow.

One player that could be viewed as somewhat of an expendable piece on the team is Miles Bridges. With the addition of Brandon Miller and the re-signing of PJ Washington during the offseason, there's a very real possibility that the Hornets come to the conclusion (sooner rather than later) that they are ready to move on from Bridges.

There's already been reported that Bridges isn't likely to re-sign with the Hornets after this season which leads many to believe that Charlotte is probably ready to move on as a franchise. Who knows what Bridges' future is as he could be hitting a bit of a crossroads in his career. Nevertheless, he's a player that could be viewed as expendable (for several reasons) for the Hornets.
