LA Clippers

The LA Clippers are in a difficult situation. Even after trading for James Harden, the Clippers have yet to click. Harden believes it will come with time but there's no guarantee this experiment is ever going to work as the Clippers originally hoped it would. If the Clippers wanted to make a move to give them the best opportunity to make it work, IL'd have to think that such a move would likely revolve around turning Norman Powell into two valuable pieces.

Adding Dorian Finney-Smith and Royce O'Neale in exchange for Powell could end up working for the Clippers. It would give LA some added depth that they lost in the Harden deal and give the team more help and versatility on the defensive end of the floor.

The Clippers are in a complicated situation because they don't have much financial wiggle room and don't have pretty much any draft capital that they can trade in a deal. This could be a last-ditch effort to finally complete the championship build around Kawhi Leonard and Paul George with no guarantee of it working.
