Thunder trade

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder are an interesting team. After a great start to the season, the Thunder find themselves as a top 3 team in the Western Conference standings. However, there are questions as to whether or not this hot start to the year will be sustainable for the Thunder or not. Either way, you'd have to imagine that they'll need to make a splash move before the NBA Trade Deadline if they want to be considered a legit contender in the West.

One potential target that makes sense for the Thunder to a certain extent is a move for Buddy Hield. As another scoring threat on the wing, Hield would take a ton of the pressure off of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren. He'd also give the team a lethal 3-point threat that can excel off-ball.

Hield is the type of underrated star talent that could be the difference in the Thunder making a deep playoff run vs. bowing out in the first round of the playoffs to a more balanced and experienced team.
