Sacramento Kings
After emerging as one of the biggest surprises in the NBA last season, the hope is that the Sacramento Kings can make another jump in their progression this year. Even though they've been competitive in the Western Conference this season, they're still a big move or two away from being a true championship contender. However, there are some moves that the Kings could look to make in an attempt to make up some ground.
One splash move that they could potentially pursue is one that lands them both Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso. It would be a costly move but it would make sense considering it would help solidify the team's supporting cast around De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. Caruso would add a two-way element next to Fox and LaVine would give the Kings a second primary scorer to help take the pressure off of Fox and Sabonis.
This is the type of underrated move that the Kings should pursue. They're never going to be a free-agent destination spot and trading for a star is going to be their best shot at finalizing this build. Maybe this is a deal that is worth it for a team looking to make another splash move up the West standings.
