Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team that has been pretty uneven through the first 20 games of the season. While there's hope they can turn things around before the push toward the playoffs rolls around, they're likely going to need to make another move before the deadline if they're going to make a deep run in the postseason. Looking at their roster, there's one potential target that would theoretically make sense for the Cavs. And that's Marcus Smart.
I'm not sure if the Memphis Grizzlies would be willing to shop Smart, even after their sluggish start to the season, but he's a player who would offer a lot of what Cleveland is missing. Smart would solidify the team's backcourt depth while also giving them a boost on the defensive end as well.
Smart would give the Cavs toughness and added experience that they sorely missed in the postseason last year. And playing next to Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell, Smart could be a menace off the bench for Cleveland.
