San Antonio Spurs

NBA Trade Deadline target: Zach LaVine, Chicago Bulls

With how legit Victor Wembanyama has looked so far this season, I think the San Antonio Spurs are in a very interesting position. While they still may be a couple of years away from competing in the Western Conference, I believe that they may be closer than most people realize. And they could be one big splash move away from being a handful in the West. One particular move that could add a new level of intriuge for the Spurs would be one for Zach LaVine.

LaVine is at a bit of a crossroads in his career. After stints with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls, a new start could be exactly what LaVine needs to revive his career. And playing under the tutelage of Gregg Popovich and next to Victor Wembanyama could help LaVine reach new heights.

The Spurs have the assets to make a move for LaVine and they'd still be able to keep the majority of their core intact. If the right price presents itself, this is a move that could work on multiple fronts.
