Utah Jazz
NBA Trade Deadline target: Buddy Hield, Indiana Pacers
If the Utah Jazz has any interest in winning with their current core, they probably have to make a win-now move soon. Admittedly, that could be difficult for Utah to pull off. They have to find the right situation and circumstance in order to make it work their time. Quite frankly, one player that might be worth the gamble is Buddy Hield. He's in the final year of his contact and is a bit a better player than Jordan Clarkson is at this point in his career.
A trio of Lauri Makkanen, Hield, and Clarkson would be quite interesting on the offensive end of the floor. If the Jazz wants to compete soon, this is the type of build that could work for the team. The big problem is that I'm not sure if this is a good enough team to make the playoffs in the Western Conference.
Ultimately, that may not make this deal worth it for the Jazz. But if they want to make some type of splash acquisition, this is a possibility they could explore. Even if it may not be worth it in the long run, Hield would add another offensive element to the Jazz.
