NBA Trade Deadline target: Tyus Jones, Washington Wizards

The Cleveland Cavaliers haven't gotten off to as great of a start as they would've liked so far this season. But the hope is that they begin to hit their stride over the next few weeks. With Donovan Mitchell playing at a high level, the Cavs are always going to have a chance to make waves in the Eastern Conference. If the Cavs are looking to add some depth to their roster, they could look at some backup point guard options.

One player that would make some sense is Tyus Jones. While he has proven that he can be a starting-caliber point guard, he may have more value off the bench for a team like the Cavs. Jones would offer a strong backup option in the backcourt as he's averaging 11 points on 37 percent shooting from 3-point range.

If it all comes together for the Cavs, they have a chance to emerge as a dark horse threat in the Eastern Conference. And a deadline addition of a player like Jones could go a long way in helping the Cavs take another step forward.
