A three-team trade with the Orlando Magic
There's a chance that the New York Knicks and Orlando Magic explore adding another team into the fold to get a deal done. If the Knicks are looking to move on from Immanuel Quickley before he hits the restricted free-agent market this summer, perhaps the Orlando Magic could emerge as a landing spot. They've already been linked to him and could send a future first-round pick to Cleveland to make this trade go-round. They could also sense a backup center, perhaps Goga Bitadze, to New York to open them to the possibility of including Isaiah Hartenstein in the offer to Cleveland.
In total, Cleveland would receive Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Hartenstein, and three future first-round picks (two from the Knicks and one from Orlando). If Cleveland doesn't want all three picks in the deal to come from New York and doesn't want to pay Quickley, perhaps this is a deal that makes more sense for them.
Depending on what the rest of the market would look like, this is a potential deal that could get done for Mitchell. Still, there could be some work to be done by both sides to find a happy middle ground.
