Brandon Ingram, New Orleans Pelicans

If the Golden State Warriors truly want to make a big upgrade to their roster this offseason and are having trouble finding realistic options, Brandon Ingram is a difference-maker that they could look to pivot to. From all indications, the overwhelming belief is that Ingram is going to be traded at some point this offseason. If the Warriors are open to making a deal, Ingram could make sense as a player who would fit next to Stephen Curry and the rest of the core. In a vacuum, Ingram would be an excellent fit on the offensive end and would theoretically help extend Curry's championship window in Golden State.

If there are any concerns for the Warriors, they lie about whether they'd be willing to pay Ingram the max contract money that he's seeking. And that's a very understandable concern for the Warriors. For as good as Ingram is as a player, he may not be viewed as a max player.

There's a chance the Warriors aren't jumping to the idea of paying Ingram that level of money over the next four years, which could naturally make him less of an option this summer. At the very least, the Warriors should consider the move.
