Trade offer No. 4

In this fourth trade offer for Donovan Mitchell, the Brooklyn Nets can take their package to the next level by including Cameron Johnson. I'm not a huge fan of trading him but if the Nets truly want to make a splash move for Mitchell, it's likely going to be costly on some level. And if it isn't going to come in the way of a massive package via draft capital, it'll come through some of their valuable players.

Johnson is one of the team's most valuable players and could be a fit for the Cavs. Assuming Cleveland is open to playing Evan Mobley at the 5 on a full-time basis, the Cavs could theoretically make the move for Johnson while also sending Jarrett Allen to a third team in this deal or a separate one in an attempt to acquire added draft capital or cheaper contributors. If nothing else, Johnson would give Cleveland another talented player and some versatility to be flexible with future moves in their frontcourt.

In this deal, the Nets could also add Cam Thomas as added compensation to help Cleveland in the backcourt. Again, there could be questions about his fit with Darius Garland but that could be sorted out down the road.
