Gordon Hayward, Charlotte Hornets
Gordon Hayward may not be considered a "star" player at this point in his career, but he's had a truly underrated season this year in Charlotte. Hayward is averaging a cool 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game on 37 percent shooting from 3-point range. He's no longer a No. 1 or 2 option in this league but he could have value as a veteran third option. If the Pacers are looking to make a move that is not going to drain all of their future assets, a move for Hayward could be in the cards at the NBA Trade Deadline.
Hayward would fit with what the Pacers are looking for on the wing and his veteran experience and leadership could come in handy when the push toward the playoffs begins. The big question the Pacers would have in targeting Hayward is whether he'd have a big enough impact on the team to make the move worth it.
At this point in his career, Hayward can just fit in with the Pacers. He wouldn't need to be special or have the ball in his hands every time down the court. That's something Indiana would be attracted to.
