The Portland Trail Blazers are a team to monitor heading into the NBA Trade Deadline. Even though there hasn't been much dialogue regarding what their plans will be heading into the deadline, I think they could end up being huge players when it comes to the transaction game over the next couple of months. While everyone will be focusing on Malcolm Brogdon, Jerami Grant could be the biggest prize on the Blazers.

Grant just signed a huge extension this past offseason but with the Blazers in the early stages of a huge rebuild, they don't have much need for him. The Blazers aren't just going to give Grant away just for the sake of it, but you'd have to think that if offered the right deal in exchange for him, they'd have to think about accepting.

Deep down, I don't think the Blazers are going to move Grant at the deadline. I think there's a better shot that he gets moved during the offseason. But maybe the Pacers make a move that the Blazers can't seem to decline. Maybe Indiana believes the fit of Grant and Myles Turner would work well.
