Gordon Hayward, Charlotte Hornets

The Orlando Magic could use another consistent scorer that could be a third or fourth option for the team. Gordon Hayward, who is averaging 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game on 35 percent shooting from 3-point range, could fit what the Hornets will be looking for heading into the NBA Trade Deadline.

For a team like the Magic, the biggest concern with a player like Hayward is certainly durability. He's a player that has struggled with injuries over the last few years of his career but if he can remain healthy, he's certainly a difference-maker that could help buoy the Magic during the stretch run. This may be the perfect trade target for the Magic.

Hayward isn't likely a name that is going to be highly sought-after at the deadline, so they wouldn't have to outbid many other teams, and he's in the final year of his current contract. Maybe, if such a gamble does pay off, they could even bring him back next season at a lower price point. Even with the risk of injury, this is a move that is worth exploring for the Magic.
