OG Anunoby, Toronto Raptors

If the Orlando Magic wanted to set their sights on loftier trade targets ahead of the deadline, there will certainly be opportunities to do so. One lofty target that the Magic could pursue is Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby. There's a growing expectation that ahead of the trade deadline the Raptors will at least explore the possibility of moving him. With a flurry of future first-round picks that the Magic could trade, they'd easily be able to get in the bidding war for Anunoby, if that's something they want to explore.

Anunoby would be a great fit on any team, even the Magic. The big question is whether Anunoby would be open to signing a long-term extension in Orlando. As a player who can explore free agency after this season, it would make little sense for the Magic to make an all-in move for him at the trade deadline only to see him walk in free agency a few months later.

But, of course, that's part of the in-season back-channeling that takes place. In theory, Anunoby would be useful to any contending team. Even the Magic. The fit would not be seamless with a loaded backcourt, but you'd have to imagine that Orlando would figure it out.
