Marcus Smart, Memphis Grizzlies

I'm not really sure how this season ends up playing out for the Memphis Grizzlies, who currently have one of the worst records in the NBA, but they're certainly a team to keep an eye on heading into the NBA Trade Deadline. Even though the Grizzlies won't fully be graded until the return of Ja Morant, which is expected to happen in the next few weeks, it's not entirely out of the question that they could make a splash move at the trade deadline.

And with how bad the team is playing of late, you'd have to wonder if the Grizzlies would consider trading Smart who has yet to establish himself as a key part of the team's core. Maybe the Grizzlies would want to recoup a draft pick or two, along with a young player, in a Smart trade in an attempt to target a bigger fish during the offseason.

If that's something the Grizzlies would entertain, the Magic could jump in and take advantage of the situation. Smart would be a great veteran backcourt addition for Orlando and could thrive in such a situation with the young Magic.
