Mike Miller to Memphis
The recently amnestied, former Miami Heat forward has found his new team – it also happens to be a former team. The Memphis Grizzlies.
According to ESPN.com’s Marc Stein, Mike Miller has decided to sign with the Grizzlies after being waived by the Heat earlier this month.
Miller played six seasons in Memphis, most recently in 2008. Last season, the sharp-shooting forward averaged 4.8 points per game in a limited role with the Heat.
Another offseason, another announcement that Derek Fisher will return to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
CBSSports’ Ken Berger tweeted “Fisher is expected to finalize an agreement to return to the Oklahoma City Thunder.”
Fisher has spent the last two seasons with the Thunder (started last season with the Mavs, before being released), he averaged 5.3 points last year with the Mavs and Thunder.
Fisher and the Thunder are finalizing an agreement on a one-year, $1.4M deal, source says. The Oklahoman also reported the deal is close.
