As the NBA Trade Deadline passes, we recap at all the deals of the day

MAVS GET NOEL 

To kick things off today, the Dallas Mavericks made quite the splash by quietly adding Nerlens Noel from the Philadelphia 76ers. In exchange, the Mavs sent James Anderson, Andrew Bogut and an ultra protected (1-18) first-round pick to the Sixers.

Essentially, the Mavs sent the Sixers Anderson and two-first round picks. Bogut will get bought out.

MCDANIELS LANDS IN BROOKLYN

The Houston Rockets traded K.J. McDaniels to the Brooklyn Nets, which will open $3 million in cap space for the Rockets to use in the buyout market. Which could include Andrew Bogut.

THUNDER LAND MCDERMOTT, GIBSON

The Oklahoma City Thunder traded Joffrey Lauvergne, Cameron Payne and Anthony Morrow to Chicago for a 2018 second-round pick, Doug McDermott and Taj Gibson.

HIBBERT GETS MOVED AGAIN

The Milwaukee Bucks moved Roy Hibbert to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for a heavily protected second-round pick.

ENNIS TO LA

The Houston Rockets traded Tyler Ennis to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Marcelo Huertas, who will be waived by the Rockets.

HAWKS MOVE SCOTT 

Atlanta traded Mike Scott to the Phoenix Suns for cash considerations.

RAPTORS LAND TUCKER

In addition to landing Serge Ibaka a couple weeks ago, the Toronto Raptors are also adding P.J. Tucker from the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix will receive Jared Sullinger, an expiring contract, and two future second-round picks.

OTHER NOTES

  • After much chatter in the days leading up to the NBA Trade Deadline, the Philadelphia 76ers ended up retaining Jahlil Okafor.
  • The Indiana Pacers decided against moving Paul George and elected to stand pat.
  • After flexing their myriad of assets, the Boston Celtics also stood pat at the deadline.
