Selected #1 overall by the Washington Wizards in 2001

Career Averages: 6.8 points, 5.6 assists, 0.6 blocks

Michael Jordan may be the greatest player in NBA history, but he won’t be winning any accolades as an NBA executive anytime soon.

As the first high-school player selected #1 overall, as well as being M.J’s first pet project, Kwame Brown never lived up to the expectations put on him by the team, and himself.

He has a history of feuding with fellow players and coaches, as well as having a piss-poor attitude on his own part.

Kwame has yet to find himself a steady basketball role in the NBA, playing for 4 different teams (Memphis, Detroit, Charlotte and Golden State) since 2007.

Brown is arguably the worst player to ever be selected #1 overall. That’s not exactly the kind of thing one would like to have on their basketball resume.
