Ed Davis

Ed Davis has had a surprisingly quiet career so far with the Memphis Grizzlies. His potential is obvious, but he hasn’t had the right team to max that with. I think the Grizzlies are getting a bit impatient with Davis and won’t be looking to match any offers he receives.

Davis has been hidden by the Grizzlies, getting very little playing time. Even when Marc Gasol was out for a while, he didn’t see a lot of playing time.

The Grizzlies have already welcomed Zach Randolph back into the roster. That makes Davis’ odds of returning even more of a longshot. Davis would be a great player to a team that has the minutes to give. He just needs to find the right team for him to succeed.

With a lot of teams searching for a talented big man this offseason, I would be surprised if Ed Davis returned to the Grizzlies. There’s too much talent present for a team to give up the opportunity that Memphis never took control of.
