The Spurs are essentially bringing the exact team back that just won the 2014 NBA Finals. And after the performance that they showcased, why would they do anything other than that?

San Antonio, like it is year in and year out, will be a force in the Western Conference. They’ll manage their way through the regular season and reemerge their real selves during the postseason.

The Spurs are the Spurs; Gregg Popovich is Gregg Popovich. They’ll be fine, with or without signing the “big name” free agents. Just like they’ve been doing for the past 15 years.
