7. Houston Rockets

Key Addition(s): Trevor Ariza,

Key Loss: Chandler Parsons, Jeremy Lin

At one point this offseason, the Houston Rockets were one head nod away from being the most talented team in the league (on paper). Instead, the Rockets will have to overcome the loss of Parsons without adding a max player. 

They are trying the “Ariza project” again, one that didn’t quite work out the first time around. Is it wrong to feel like the Rockets got worse this offseason? I feel like they did. Not just worse, significantly worse.
