Key Loss: Spencer Hawes
The two biggest acquisitions for the Sixers this offseason won’t likely see the court in 2014-15. That’s all you need to know about this Sixers team. Embiid (injury) and Saric (playing overseas) won’t suit up for Philadelphia this season, however, last year’s first round draft pick, Nerlens Noel, will. That’s probably the bright side to an otherwise dim immediate future for Philadelphia fans.
The future may be bright for the Sixers, and even though the combination of Michael Carter-Williams and Noel will be gobs of fun to watch early on, the matter of the fact is that they just aren’t going to win many games this year.
