Last season, Luol Deng spent the beginning of the season with the Chicago Bulls. He was then traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers shortly into the season. During the offseason, Deng signed a contract with the Miami Heat.
Last season was a train-wreck for Deng. He played the first 23 games of the season with the Chicago Bulls and averaged 19.0 points per game, 6.9 rebounds per game, 3.7 assists per game and 1.0 steals per game. Then, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers and played the rest of the season there. In Cleveland, Deng had a tough time and averaged 14.3 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game and 1.0 steals per game.
I believe Miami is a great team for Luol Deng. I think he will get back to his Chicago days and play very well with the Heat. Expect anywhere from 17 points to 20 points per game next season, as well as six rebounds and four assists.
