Making an International Splash

Also making the cut is the starting back court for the Golden State Warriors in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, aka The Splash Brothers. If the international game is a three-point shooting contest, then why not bring in the NBA’s most productive three-point duo?

Not only can these brothers splash the nets, Thompson is one of the NBA’s best man-to-man defenders, while Stephen Curry is the “better offensive player than LeBron James,” or so he claims.

Kidding aside, Curry is an excellent playmaker and point guard who was fifth in the NBA last season in assists.

With the Splash Brothers providing the scoring punch, Team USA’s offensive arsenal is very formidable, considering that they also brought in the high-scoring James Harden of the Houston Rockets. Harden was fifth in the NBA in scoring last season, and he’s a guy who can also knock down the three’s with precision.
