Rajon Rondo is entering the final year of his contract. Slated to make 12.9 million dollars, the point guard has reportedly asked for a trade.

However, reports have now surfaced that Rondo at least wants to start the season for the Celtics. If you’re Boston, how do you land a quality trade offer for a player who will be a free agent in less than a year?

Boston would ideally want draft picks, expiring contracts for cap space or at least young, promising talent.
