Former Brooklyn Nets, and now Milwaukee Bucks head coach, Jason Kidd isn’t a fan of practice. Apparently.

When asked to contrast new Nets head coach Lionel Hollins and Jason Kidd’s practice habits, Joe Johnson gave a bit of insight on how tough practicing for Kidd was.

Or how much it wasn’t.

"[via Joe Johnson can’t keep a straight face when talking about Jason Kidd’s lazy practices — The Brooklyn Game]“I’ve heard he loves practice and, you right, Jason Kidd…he…I mean…we practiced but…you know…not really. But we’ll see.”"

Johnson couldn’t even keep a straight face as he tried to give the “responsible” answer when trying to side-step Kidd’s “practice” habits last season.

Ironically, Kidd was coaching one of the most veteran teams in the NBA last season in Brooklyn. Now, he’s coaching one of the youngest teams in Milwaukee. It’s going to be interesting to see how much of those lackadaisical practice habits change, if at all.

We know they certainly are in Brooklyn under Hollins, and it’s probably for the better.
