Kobe Bryant, G, Los Angeles Lakers
As we all know by now, Kobe Bryant is making his return to the hardwood this season. After overcoming two bad injuries over the course of the last year and a half (achilles, knee), Kobe is looking to regain his old form in order to give the Los Angeles Lakers one last shot at a title under his administration.
Although, no one is sure if Kobe can even get back up to his former level of play.
Last season, when he returned from his original injury — a torn achilles tendon — he looked slow and not himself. Add in a knee injury, which forced him to miss the final four months of last year’s season, and you can see why there remains much doubt in Kobe’s ability to bounce back this season.
Though, many are still expecting for Kobe to — once again — overcome anything that he needs to in order to return to his dominant self.
However, father time is undefeated. And Kobe won’t be the Kobe that we’re used to seeing. No matter what he does in preseason.
