Roy Hibbert, C, Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers will forcefully be overly dependent on Roy Hibbert this season. After the unfortunate injury to Paul George, and Lance Stephenson’s departure to Charlotte, the Pacers were suddenly left with Hibbert and not much else.

Hibbert averaged 10.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last season. He’ll need to be much, much better for the Pacers this season if they’re going to have any type of success during the regular season. I’m just not sure he can provide that.

Apart from his inconsistency issues, Hibbert isn’t exactly a player — yet, at least — that can manage to carry a team into the playoffs alone.

Hibbert needs to average somewhere around 20 and 10 in order for his Pacers to have enough a sniff of making the playoffs next season. Expectations for Hibbert are close to that. He’ll fall short.
