As a three-time NBA Coach Of the Year award winner, Popovich could possibly win yet his fourth this year.

Every year the Spurs and their roster get a year older, but somehow seem to remain effective and well, while driving their way to the NBA Finals. This could be because they surround their core players with a young supporting cast that are driven by a systematic approach, or it could be because they have a coach that brings out the best in everyone. That’s Gregg Popovich.

Popovich’s schemes are no stranger to the league as everyone is aware of the Spurs’ approach. Spurs basketball may be boring at times, but its effective. Always.

Their operational methods make them one of the more difficult teams to deal with and it all starts with the guy yelling the plays from the sidelines, Gregg Popovich. A fourth Coach of the Year award isn’t just a possibility, its bound to happen, especially if the Spurs can have another successful season.
