Jeff Hornacek, Phoenix Suns

If Jeff Horncek’s year two in Phoenix is anything like his year one, it’s going to be quite a successful second season for the Suns under Hornacek.

When he joined the Suns as the head coach last season, they looked great which led to his December NBA Coach of the Month honor.

Hornacek now has a few additions to the roster and a (now) healthy leading guard in Eric Bledsoe. This team could now be a legit playoff team, combining excellent up-tempo play and phenomenal coaching. Hornacek will have the duty of keeping the double-headed monster in check with Bledsoe and Goran Dragic.

When the two were both healthy, the Suns were one of the best teams in the league. Not only did Hornacek do a good job of managing his guards and the team’s pace, he also did a great job of managing the entire roster and each player’s playing time. If Hornacek and his two point guard, fast paced system can take it to the next level, Hornacek could go from coach of the month to NBA Coach of the Year.
