Atlanta Hawks

Biggest Disappointment: So much struggle rebounding the basketball

The Atlanta Hawks are pretty much what we all expected them to be. They’re losing the games that they should lose (to superior teams) and winning the games they should win. They’re sitting at 4-3, and are currently third in the Southeast. Considering that the two teams above them are the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards, that’s not that bad.

Although, the Hawks have struggled mightily in rebounding this year. The team is ranked 24th in the NBA in rebounds per game (39.9). While it was expected to see this type of struggle last year, without Al Horford, I don’t think they expected that to continue this season.

They’ve been out-rebounded in six of the squad’s first seven games. That isn’t ideal.
